Hermes Agent is a self-hosted software assistant. It runs on hardware controlled by its operator and connects to the operator's own accounts — including, when the operator authorises it, their Google Drive and Google Sheets — in order to carry out tasks the operator sets: reading and writing documents, keeping lists and spreadsheets up to date, and preparing material for the operator to review.
The tool has exactly one user: the person who installed it. It is not offered as a service, has no public sign-up, no customer accounts and no other users. There is no commercial use of any Google user data.
When authorised, it uses the Google Drive and Google Sheets APIs to read and write files and spreadsheets that belong to that same single user. Nothing is fetched that the user has not asked for, and no Google user data is transferred to any third party, model provider or analytics service.
